I’ve got three around here somewhere. I got a 27 when they first came out and carried it off and on for 20 years on the job. It never jammed and was more accurate than it had a right to be. I gave it to my youngest when I retired.

I got an FBI Commemorative Glock 22 when it was offered to agents in 2008. I’ve shot it a few times, but mostly it sits in its fancy etched glass case.

I got my wife a Glock 19 a few years ago. She likes it and usually keeps it in her car. It works every time we shoot it.

No guns have “soul” aside from what we bring to them. I hope when I’m dead and gone and my son holds the 27 I gave him he’ll remember me and the war stories I told him and get a good feeling. That can happen with any gun.
