I tried one of those sights on my Model 22A-1 for my wife as she has trouble grasping the use of iron sights. The gun shot much worse than with the factory adjustable sights. I could never get it sighted in because it shot all over the place but removing it allowed the gun to return to its old self. And yes, it was installed correctly.

For those olde pharts like me who buy one of those sights to improve their acquisition of the sights and target, I suggest buying glasses that allow you to see both the sights and the target with clarity.
