But why? Certainly harder to carry reloading components vs loaded ammo. I just never got the idea of minimalist reloading. DO it at home, carry the ammo, shoot & repeat. One can make reloading as simple or complicated as you like but if the point is to make quality ammo in a shot period of time, for a variety of firearms, I see no point, just make ammo in the shop.
Back in the days of the buffalo hunter & a single shot, sure a bag of BP & case of primers, mold for making bullets & 100 cases made some sense I suppose but today, but for a SHTF scenario where I had to take oddball ammo apart & make ammo for my whatever, just a novelty loading rounds in the field.
