This thread caught my eye. One week before the initial posting I came across this .38 Special Hand Ejector M&P at a local gun show. While not in the same league as the like new M&P in the initial posting, I was attracted by the deep bluing and lanyard ring on this 75 year old gun (Serial #941XXX). With the later serial number, bright blue finish and no military markings I was surprised to see a lanyard ring. Was it common for there to be a lanyard ring on what appears to be a commercial firearm?
