Nice snag. I once passed on a reblued polished to death 2nd model 44HE at a little local show for $600.00 that had a nicer set of prewar magnas on it than your .45. Sometimes I kick myself, I know what the grips were worth, but then I would have been stuck with an ugly 6" .44 without a set of grips....
