I own a bunch of DeSantis holsters. I see them as a good working man's holster and a good bang for the buck. They are a reputable Company and they do stand behind their workmanship.
That said, IMHO they are simply not in the same league as Kramer Leather's products, HOWEVER neither are their prices. To me what differentiates the brands are that the Kramer Horsehide holsters need NO retention straps, snaps, tension screws etc. to properly hold the gun securely but yet still allow a fast draw. DeSantis leather holsters are a bit too floppy soon after they get broken in and carried on a daily basis in the real world.
But once again, DeSantis Leather sells popularly priced holsters and for the money they cost are pretty descent.
