Two 1953 22/32 Kit Guns
Found a second 1953 22/32 Kit Gun on the I frame. Got the top one in 2017 and the lower one yesterday. These were the first ones made in 1953 and likely made a day or two apart. 181 serial numbers apart and both 3 digit serials. How amazing is that. Found the last one at a local pawn shop and offered $300 but they felt guilty so said $275. I rated it in lower condition because of spots and rust but it turned out it was only varnish spots which came off while cleaning. I had this set of correct grips to replace the plastic ones it came with. They were low 4 digit serial numbers.
They paid $100 for it, I can't imagine how desperate the seller was to let it go for that. Really happy about these.
