Well, I’ve always thought that my 745 was made up as an afterthought. I have no real idea when it was assembled but I still find it very strange that they fit an insert from maybe a 659, (?,) in the late 1980’s instead of using a 745 one. Heck Numrich has 745 ones right now.
Earl said they got only 15 of them in 1998.
