Yup that BB bullet is almost pure lead with a smidgen of tin . Which makes it mallable so it won't lose petals & no jacket to shed . That bullet will work up to 1200fps MV . Yes it's a warm load but an effective one . Cast HP at handgun speeds need to be 20 to 1 or softer , gascheck enables it to be pushed pretty good . BB also uses a good lube . Only thing is BB is pricey . If you don't cast , you can buy the same bullet & roll your own . Just pretend you're making 38-44 loads , ie 1100-1200 MV .
