I got a Ruger 10/22 from a friend.

It was nothing special, blued with a standard wood stock.

It gets a trifle humid around these parts and I wanted it to be a little more "weather proof".

I swapped the barrel for a stainless Ruger barrel and I swapped the stock for a synthetic Ruger stock.

It's my "all-weather" 10/22 now.
