These are two I put together over the years. The top one was right around 2000 when Volquartsen came out with their trigger group. The Burris scope was a great 4-12 compact with an adjustable objective that went down to 7 yards, I don't know why they quit making it. It will make 4 leaf clovers, with 5 shots, at 50 yards with Federal GMM off a bipod.
I thought about swapping out the barrel for a newer threaded version that Volquartsen now makes, and getting into the suppressor game, but I talked myself out of it.
The bottom one was put together just before Ruger started making factory 16" barreled 10/22s. I had the barrel cut and threaded for the A1 flash hider. The Match Dot is a great red dot, it has an adjustable dot size and an easily adjustable elevation.
Rugers can be expensive addictive habits, there are just too many after market parts. Twenty tears ago you could turn a $239 Walley World special 10/22 into a $1000 rifle real quick........And the Ruger MK .22 pistols are just as bad.
