I've never been diagnosed as having OCD, but for me, ANY great looking grips on my S&W's MUST have the S&W grip escutcheons/medallions to be acceptable. So glad that Mr. Grashorn provides that.
Most of mine have original or period-correct Magnas or Targets.
Maybe it's 'mental rebound' from outfitting so many handguns over so many years with ugly Pachs and such, don't know. Absolute deal breaker for me these days.
Having said that, on autos I don't care so much. Most of my M1911's wear VZ grips, as does a BHP clone, obviously with no medallion(s).
