Default J&G 10-7 frame, where from?
Just got my model 10 frame from J&G today, serial # AVY7836. In front of the trigger guard it is marked JP over 1280. Pretty good over all condition, not improved any by the CIA import mark on the TG. Has anyone determined where these came from? Likely some foreign police or security force. Got a 2" barrel from GB so next S&W gunsmithing class I take this will be a project.
