FWIW, I've read that instructor Kelly McCann has used a Gen 2 Glock 19 that's gone over 100,000 rounds. IIRC, the only things done have been replacing small parts and springs, and I think I remember reading that he had some kind of factory upgrade done, but I can't remember the details of that. I think it had to do with the frame pins.
