I'll be curious to know how your sleeved barrel for the Model 67 works out. As I stated before, both Hamilton Bowen and Andy Horvath refused to talk about using a sleeved barrel for my 327 project because of the high pressure round. OTOH, a Western acquaintance of mine described on the Cast Boolits Forum how he built a Model 64 in 327 by making an inner barrel with an outer shroud made from the original barrel (sort of like some of the current production revolvers.) He didn't do a whole lot of shooting with it before he lost interest and moved on to other things, but I think he had satisfactory results. Please keep us posted with how yours goes.

BTW, my "Project 616" has a Model 617 cylinder and when the chambers were reamed, the recessed rims were also cut in. On my faux Model 16-3 the rear face of the Model 17 cylinder was first milled off so the rims are on the face like the original Model 16s. Which way are you going with your rims?
