I know that 3 and 4 have a half lug and 5 and 6 have a full lug. Other than that, what are the differences?

Thanks!

Val,

I was amazed to realize that up until the arrival of the full underlug, there was no under barrel lug on the Masterpiece series of pistols. from their first post-War release up through at least the 14-3, and I believe the 14-4, the barrels went from light (“narrow rib”) to heavy, but always with nothing underneath except the front locking lug. The “half lug” began with the Model 19, but AFAIK was never offered by the factory of the Model 14s. This revelation came when I began examining frames for custom builds. I could be wrong and have been before, but I believe this is correct.
