It has no fair chase value in hunting wild game. Assuming you can make the shot doesn't mean that you should take the shot. That has nothing to do with the OP; he's just pointing out the obvious, but it's a general editorial aimed at all rifle hunters.

And, BTW, I really like Nevada Ed's photos!!!!
I love shooting at 500 meters. Just for fun, never could see a critter that far away in the rain forest we hunted in.
