I was a DC cop & went through the ‘68 riots, then the Nixon inauguration Hippie protests, so had my fill of that nonsense. I’ve been carrying my LCP for awhile but recently switched back to my no-lock 340PD if that makes any sense. My reason for carrying is to simply cause a break in contact w/a bad guy so capacity is not a real concern. I’m just more comfortable w/a revolver, based on my street experiences, in this limited role. My daily travels, especially now, are limited to necessary chores so no reason to think I’ll come into contact w/another riot. Hip & back problems keep me limited to a very light pocket gun anyway.
