I'm pretty sure I own the only true I frame .38 Special. I acquired a bubbu'd Terrier several years ago. I fitted it with an early Chief's Special barrel and a machined Model 36 cylinder to fit in the cylinder window. It will shoot all but the longest of .38 Special rounds. It's the one in the middle between an early Chief's and a standard Terrier.
