I have one and it is amongst my favorites. One hint for you; put lots of grease on the rails! I have seen a couple 1911sc's that where under lubed and the finish was worn off the rails after only a couple hundred rounds. I have 5K rounds through mine and nay any wear, but I use lots of white lithium grease on the rails.
Also, the plunger tube on mine snapped off after 800 rounds and I installed an after market heavy duty milled one. S&W uses a cheaper version from the factory.
All in all it's a fantastic carry weapon.
