My "official" truck gun is a lever-action rifle, but more often than not, I throw a handgun in there, too. For years, it was my model 15.
Just recently, however, I started throwing this in the truck...Springfield model 1911 .45 acp. Not sure exactly why. I don't know if I felt that I wanted a little extra "fire power," or if I just wanted a change of pace.
