I never wore them until the last few years and now it seems the only way too keep my pants up. I have hearing aids, false teeth and glasses and I don't like either of them but if I want too see, hear and eat I need them. I have found if I want too keep my pants from falling down I need suspenders. It's just part of adapting too lifes little problems. Larry
