I am using the RIMZ polymer moon clips with my 929. I use it for ICORE and USPSA (IPSC) competition.
No worry about what thickness clip to use or what headstamp brass. These hold all the brands I've tried very rigidly - which is what you want when you are trying to hitr those eight tiny holes with a reload on the clock. They work their magic by not just having clip fit into the extractor groove, but by also surrounding the case head. The clips are "rebated" like S&W Magnum cylinders of days gone by.
