Check the product SDS. It is not "green" and does contain a mild abrasive

Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated light
cristobalite
Signal word is "Danger"
It has a mild silica abrasive and petroleum carrier.

Kinda like JB Bore Polish which as other stuff plus a mile Garnet abrasive,
