I shoot a Model 14 in NRA competition. I have not found a set od grips that are ideal. The problem is the pistol rocks back in my hand under recoil and that changes my poa in substained fire.
I have tried Hogue and they position the hand to low to manually cock the hammer.S&W target grips allow the pistol to rock in my grip.
Is there a set of grips that are checketed on the back or a set of grips that mimic a 1911 grip where the pistol could not roll back in the web of the hand?
Pachmayr are to slick and allow the pistol to rock. I have tried rosin and that does not help.
