Happy about my new 686 + 3" rev. And, sad that it's going back to Smith& Wesson for a late timing issue with one chamber! Picked it up yesterday from my FFL. Examined it for cosmetic issues. Found none.

Took it home and cleaned and lubed it. Put snap caps in to do some dry practice. Decided to check timing using the "thumb-drag" method. Shocked to find one chamber "late."

S&W customer service emailed a FedEx label. Estimate is four weeks.

Have other revolvers to shoot. But I'm disappointed. Anyone else experience this issue with a new gun?
