Try supermarkets, Wal Mart, the big box hardware stores, smaller stores like Ace Hardware. A can of JPW should last you a lifetime. Could also try neutral shoe polish - it's wax too.

I use watch and clock oil for internal gun parts lubrication as it doesn't gum up. I have some as I work on clocks also. Something you would almost have to buy on the internet. I have a 4 ounce bottle of Windle's, had it forever. It doesn't take much. J.D. Windles Clock Oil 50ML

Many believe synthetic motor oil is about as good a general use gun oil as you can find, but I haven't used it.

Another tip - about any light oil will do an excellent job as a bore cleaner. Try cleaning your dirty bore with Hoppe's, Shooter's Choice, or whatever bore cleaner you usually use. Clean it until your wiping patch is clean. Then run an oil wet patch through the bore and see how black it is. Long ago I used penetrating oil as a bore cleaner. it did a good job.
