I have a M&P 45 and recently purchased my 45 Shield M2.0 and love it.
I have zero interest in a 40, 9mm or a 380.
I carried a M642-1 for years and now my 45 Shield is my EDC.
Went to the range the other day and the bad guy lost.
I had a Glock model 36 and it was junk so I replaced with my 45 Shield.
