Universal has always been my small gauge shotgun powder. Love the stuff for its clean burning. That said, I remember several years where it was not available due to a fire in its Australian factory. I have seen it pretty regularly since it came back. Good to know it's an alternative for handgun loads in case HP-38/WW-231 goes through another round of scarcity. I like to stay with proven powders, but it's getting hard with periodic shortages.
