The spring mounts are what failed on mine Lyman after about 25 years of fairly heavy use (probably 10,000 rounds per year on average). I ordered a replacement for it and then discovered that it wasn't all that hard to re-attach them. I did so and it's been running fine for the last 10 years, along side the "new" one.

The new one developed a crack in the lid as the bowl and lid are not nearly as heavy as the bowl and lid on the old one.
