Had my Ultravibe 18 for 40 years, run it almost every week and one day years ago it started making a horrible noise!
Turns out the armature bearing or something gave up the ghost and allowed that part to slip down, creating that awful noise!
Bent up a coat hanger and zip-tied it underneath to support the armature and now it may well live another 40 years!
I probably won't though.
