No right or wrong answer to this one. It depends on your situation and what you are comfortable with. I have two or three guns that I use all the time so I don't put them in the safe when not in use. I have a couple of places within the house where I stash these when not in use where they are readily accessible but it would be rather hard for someone breaking in to find them. They do happen to be in areas where I frequent in the home so that I have them in addition to the one I am carrying. I don't choose to go to the gun safe every time I want to switch guns. That's just me.
