I Picked up my S serial 58 with original grips and minimal wear for 850 at the beginning of the year and that was even in CA. I think I may have gotten a little luck since the seller didn’t even mention the grips or serial range in the ad. If the grips are original to the gun they should have the serial number stamped into the back side of one of the panels.
