I too have a 9mm Shield and love it for its accuracy and capacity - I shoot it in the IDPA matches I occasionally attend at my range, now that they have a class for these little guns.

But my Shield likes 147g bullets best, and if I load it up with 8+1 the weight of just the bullets is a noticeable increase over the five 158g 38 Specials I would have in my 442. The price you pay for the extra capacity, and the availability of a much more rapid reload if needed.
