I generally agree, Kevin. But to be clear, I've never owned a 3" I or J frame, so I can't really speak to those.
On the N frame, I do like the 4" HP, for example. But, if you have never shot a 5" N frame, you owe it to yourself to do so. I find those even better balanced than the 4".
