Generally, I buy what I like. I have a Winchester collection, a few Colts, some Rugers, and a couple Remingtons. 185 in all. I mostly like my 22 rifle collection. It's an ongoing thing. I am 78 now, and this collecting will soon slow down. I just bought a 5" 1948 vintage M&P. Did I need it? No. Nice gun and the price was right. Thanks, Big Larry
