I have both the 500 & 460. The 460 is scoped, used a Weigand rail and rings and Leupold VX-3 2.5X8 scope.

I have sent around 1500 rounds through the 460, probably half of those with the scope on top. It has held up fine, I have had no issues, no zero loss. All components are important, reil, rings and scope need to be up for the job.

I have about a 1000 rounds through the 500.

No scope on the 50AE Desert Eagle either, I have been thinking that a red dot may be nice on that. I have the 44 Mag barrel for it too. It is fun to shoot.

Including a pic of the "real" 50 - the rifle in the back of the pic with the 4 rifles is my Barrett M82A1 in 50 BMG. I have only shot that about 200 times. It has a Nightforce NXS scope with Barrett rings and it has held up well too.
