I agree!

I don't own a model 1076, but when I'm shooting fixed sight S&W 2nd and 3rd gens, by "blocking out" or "covering" the POA with the front sight, so that the white dot, which is below the top of the sight becomes the "center of the target", (if you get my drift), my shots seem to be more centered.

It seems unusual to me as I had always used the "six-o-clock" hold.

But covering the target works better on the fixed sights.

The adjustables I can set up as I please.

I love them "big eared" adjustables!
