Slingshot the slide by inserting a loaded mag, pulling back the slide all the way and releasing it. Don't hold onto it while it moves forward into battery.

A friend has an EZ because his wife's hand strength is a challenge. They are prone to stoppages if you ride the slide even a wee little bit because the springs are set up to make it easy to cycle. As noted, clean, lube and slingshot the slide. I run a microfiber cloth through the interiors of my magazines (up from the bottom and out the top) to see if anything snags. if so, file, polish, lube and repeat until the cloth moves through without any catches or snags.
