I've carried both the S&W 3953 (DAO version of the 3913) and the Sig 239; today, all I have is the Sig 239. Both are/were about the same size and weight (I used the same DeSantis Speed holster for both). It's easier to get magazines for the 39XX series even though they're no longer made; you can use Sig P225A1 magazines with the Sig P239, although they extend slightly below the bottom of the magwell, just a visual oddity, no problem operationally. Overall, I highly recommend the Sig P239, but I also have a Walther PPS M2 too.
