The Model 12-2 has been refinished and it looks like it was given a hard chrome finish, which included the hammer and trigger. Not the work of S&W. The stocks are aftermarket.

The Model 19-4 is from 1978 and appears to be original. You will note that it still has the pinned barrel and the counterbored cylinder. That changed in 1982.
