Have only one time bought brass (that was for a .38 ACP Colt 1903 Hammer). All the rest of the brass that I own is picked up at the range. It is amazing how much brass that shooters generate. I will ask the folks who are shooting next to me if they are saving their brass. If they say no then I clean it up for them. I have enough brass to last me until I can not reload anymore and to keep the Grandkids supplied for quite a while.
