Yes they are ugly as a mud fence, all accounts I’ve seen say they are dependable.
Plus a no questions lifetime warranty.
Forgot to add, the only drawback is the 10 round mag capacity. Redball makes a 20 round mag but its uglier than the gun.  |
A real pain to disassemble from what I seen in youtube vids. Also heavier than my Mini 14 and I think an ordinary AR? Not sure about my LMT without looking it up. In a pistol caliber?
I'll second the lever action suggestions. Also budget ARs are pretty decent nowadays.
