Gunbroker prices don't often come close to trying to sell locally. With GB there is obviously a much larger pool of potential buyers. Bought a rifle in November locally for $650 and seen them on GB selling for over $1000.
I took my 66-1 to a few gun shops a few years ago and one guy did not even want it at all and the other was giving me an offer I had to refuse. Even with today's madness of gun buying I'd probably be lucky to get what I paid for it locally.
The 357 revolver market might be more desirable in your area, here in NW Indiana its like walking in with a dead racoon.
