I looked back at your other posts and no one seemed to say "welcome", so this fixes that.

This appears to be a fairly rare 2" barrel .38 M & P from the 1930 decade; no more than a few hundred were made. Check if the numbers stamped on the flat part of the barrel near the extractor rod and inside of the right stock panels match the SN. If so it has all-original parts from production.

I also noticed you posted several SNs in the "manufacture date" thread; try posting them in the Revolvers 1980 - present subforum along with the model information and you should get more information.
