I had a female recruit next to me on the firing line let one go through the outdoor covered roof during the Academy. It was helped by the instructor pulling her trigger on what he thought was an empty chamber. Luckily, no one was hurt.
I think with the 870 not currently in production, everyone is snapping-up what they can get. And a lot of people like the nostalgia wood look. I have a Tac-14 I would love to find a wood PG style grip for (already have a wood forend) and make it into a US Marshal's style from the 80's.
