S&W did not nickel plate extractor stars so the 1950 Model .44 Special was after market nickel plated. None the less it is the most intriguing gun of the three. You'll notice most of the conversation is about it. Over priced excellent condition guns are a dime a dozen, so to speak. Fun shooters on the other hand are treasures to find.

The condition of the 3" 24-3 puts it in the fun shooter category also, but, over looking the finish on the wood, it is still in very good original condition. Its wood can be easily refinished.

I hope you are a reloader. It always was necessary for shooters of ordinary means to reload to shoot .44s much. If you don't already have one, with the current ammo market, a .44 die set would be the best investment you ever made.
