It’s easy to make comparisons but how many are actually valid? I bought a new Corvette in 1996 for $42,000.00. Sold it six years later with 11,000 miles on it for $21,000. When I add the cost of insurance and registration fees for those six years all I can say is OUCH! Full autos and revolvers are apples to oranges. No one can really predict the future or we would avoid costly mistakes. I still say that the excessive prices people pay for the almighty 3.5” 27s are excessive and I happen to own four of them. Value is in the eye of the beholder, especially if you be holding said object in your own hands
