I was looking through my collection of old magazines (the reading kind) and enjoyed seeing an ad from Lyman touting the practicality of cast bullets (Shooting Times July 1964). Going beyond simply assembling components to duplicate factory ammo, cast bullets open new opportunities to increase the versatility and longevity if your favorite guns while maximizing cost savings. (Probably makes more sense these days than ever!)
Also, if you haven't ever seen them, Lyman's old cast bullet reloading manuals are fantastic!
Anyhow, a nice "blast" from the past!
