The gun we received was very problematic: constant jamming in the barrel and clip feed, as well as jammed ejections. My Dad took the gun apart and basically formed the opinion that the newer Model 41's were trash compared to the earlier Model 41's. I would be very skeptical about buying a late-Model 41 based on my experience; if you can cycle a couple clips without jamming, then it's a keeper!
What was his delineation for newer vs earlier examples? Is there a year where the lemons began? My 2009 Model 41 has been pretty good.
